Matt Blackburn is Managing Partner and a co-founder of Class VI Partners Family Office, which launched as a Registered Investment Advisor in September 2016.

Matt has 30+ years of experience in all aspects of wealth management, spending the first 24 years with 3 large, public institutions (Charles Schwab, PNC, and KeyBank). Throughout his career, Matt has developed a passion for working with business owners, assisting them with investment management, private investments, whole family education and advisory services.

As Managing Partner, Matt’s primary role is to lead the Family Office team, oversee strategic planning, new product and service development, and assist in customized planning and investment management advice for Class VI clients. He is actively involved with Firm investment strategy & philosophy, asset allocation, security selection and individual client portfolio management.

Matt graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a degree in Finance and later earned his MBA from Kent State University. Matt and his wife Halle are natives of Cleveland, Ohio, but have been in Colorado since 2009. They have 3 young adult children and enjoy traveling with and without the kids.
